The 2024 World Convention of Cocaine Anonymous (CA) is coming to Holland!!!!!! Our World Convention will bring together CA members from all around the world to share their experience, strength, and hope. The 2024 convention is scheduled to take place in Noordwijkerhout, Netherlands, from 11 till 15 July, under the theme of “Hope, Faith, Courage.” For those who are not able to physically attend the convention we will have a tailored online experience to ensure everyone can get a taste of CAWS 2024.
Our convention is a momentous occasion for CA members, you will have the opportunity to attend various meetings, speakers, workshops, and excursions. These events will be geared towards promoting the spirit of camaraderie and support, which are critical to our recovery.
One of the main objectives of the World Convention is to provide support to the newcomer. Together we can achieve this if we all bring newcomers to the convention [#BRINGANEWCOMER] and putting them “on fire”, through sharing our personal stories, discussions on how we stay clean & sober, and various workshops aimed at helping our members develop and maintain their recovery.
If you are financially unable to pay for (part of) the registration you can apply for the Fellow2Fellow fund (Scholarship). Dear CA Friends, we were overwhelmed by the number of fellows that have reserved a room for CAWS 2024 in the NH Hotel Noordwijkerhout with the SATURDAY now SOLD-OUT. We are happy to announce that we have been able to organize 80 EXTRA ROOMS at the NH SCHIPHOL, located only 20 minutes away from the main venue and a DAILY TRANSFER to the convention hotel and back. Camping site:
For the more adventurous types in our fellowship, we can share a tip with you. There is a camping site near
the hotel. It’s only a 10-ish minute walk (1 km or 0,6 miles). The convention will be in the summer, so it could
be a great alternative. It is a bit cheaper too 😉 I know from experience that CA will be well represented on the
camping site.
You have to bring your own tent, caravan or other material since they don’t offer any pre-set up tents. If you’re
interested, go visit: www.campingophoopvanzegen.nl, and make sure to make your reservation on time.
The NH Noordwijk Conference Centre Leeuwenhorst is a four-star hotel located in the Netherlands’ beautiful flower bulb region only 15 mins from Schiphol International Airport. Convention-goers will find plenty to do, as the centre is perfectly situated for excursions to Amsterdam, or Noordwijk, a well-known beach resort only a stone’s throw away.
Our team has made an amazing deal with the hotel for our convention guests. Book your room for single use for only 170 euro per night including breakfast.
Want to share the room with a fellow? Only 15 euro per night extra. If you want to share a room with more then 1 fellow we have limited triple and quadruple rooms that are only bookable by direct contact with the hotel.

TRANSPORT
We understand that travelling to a convention can sometimes be a challenge. That’s why we have selected the best transport guru’s from our fellowship to help you get to our convention Hotel. We do everything in our power to make your convention experience one of Joy and Easy-Does-It.
HOW TO GET THERE
From the Airport (Schiphol):
- Take a train to Leiden Centraal station (20 minutes).
- From Leiden, take bus 20 to Noordwijk ZH and get off at the Herenweg stop.
- Transfer to bus 90 and alight at the Langelaan stop.
- You have arrived at the hotel.

From the Train Station:
- From Leiden Centraal station: Take bus 31 and disembark at Vuurbaak, Katwijk. Then, take line 90 and get off at Langelaan.
- From Den Haag Centraal station: Take bus 90 towards Lisse and alight at Langelaan.
If you plan to stay for multiple days in The Netherlands, you can purchase day tickets for the bus.

To find the designated pickup point for Uber at the airport:
- Follow the signs towards trains and car rental agencies after leaving the baggage reclaim area and passing through customs.
- Take the exit by the car rental desks.
- For UberX (blue dot on the map below):
- Cross the roads in front of you; there should be 4 roads to cross.
- Turn right and follow the sidewalk.
- Meet your driver next to the bus stop.
- For UberBlack or UberVAN (red dot on the map below):
- Go right until you find yourself in front of Exit B (1 min walk).
- Meet your driver on the side of the road.
